Bill: Abortions Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Mordusian Worker's Party

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3533
Description[?]:
Noting that abortions are only legal in an emergency, this act seeks to allow for abortions to be carried out by choice too. Many women do not want the responsibilty of a child or the pain of childbirth and as such an abortion is the only option for them, rather than creating an unwanted baby. |

Message | This is a rather extreme proposal, how could a baby be killed minutes before birth but be protected by law the instant of birth? This is non sensical. |

Message | (OOC: There's no option saying that abortion is legal up to when the woman goes into labour. When the fetus is ready to live as an external being, that's when it should become a baby in my opinion.) |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
