| Message | Per quanto aiuti economici a agricoltori in difficoltà può sembrare economicamente insensato e contrario alle logiche di mercato l'agricoltura Istaliana è un settore strategico la cui protezione deve essere perennemente garantita. Se l'Istalia decidesse di fare eccessivo affidamento su l'importazione da paesi esteri di prodotti agricoli di base qualsiasi guerra intrapresa sarebbe gia persa in partenza. Senza un settore agricolo Istaliano servirebbe poco per far morire di fame l'intera popolazione. Per non parlare di eventi fuori dal nostro controllo quale una guerra nel paese da cui importiamo prodotti agricoli. In sostanza togliere sussidi agli agricoltori non in grado di sostenere la concorrenza estera sarebbe economicamente vantaggioso, ma la nostra autonomia da paesi esteri sarebbe fortemente indebolità. In questo caso le esigenze strategiche del paese sovrastono la razionalità economica. |
