Bill: Bank Privatisation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Brit Yeudish

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3539

Description[?]:

It is ridiculous that the banking system is almost entirely nationalised in Beiteynu. The time has come to roll back this communism. Without a strong and entrepreneurial banking system, we cannot seek to seriously compete as an economic power in Terra.

MessageMr. Levine's party is not only against workers but is also working for the interests of fat cat bankers. This is quite frankly a despicable proposal!

MessageThe people working in the interests of fat cat bankers are those who wish to maintain the present virtual government monopoly on the banking system! Unless we open up banking to serious private competition, bankers will not be responsive to customers and customers will get a shoddy deal.

The only difference between myself and Mr. Rosenfeld is that I want to reward high-performing bankers, whilst he wants to reward low-performing ones.
