Message | Why does everyone think we need nukes? Nukes aren't gonna help you when the bombs fall, they just make sure the other guy's just as screwed. I'd rather see to it that, in the event of nuclear attack, we have options available that will SAVE lives instead of TAKE more. |

Message | Nukes are a deterant. In other words if we have nukes other nations will think twice about nuking us - if we dont we will be an international pushover. This nuclear balance of power is why the USA and USSR never came to nuking each other, as both were guaranteed to be destroyed as a result. |
