Message | OOC: We need to get the anthem changed too because there are references to "Torah" and "Christ" etc. |

Message | OOC: Yes, a new anthem would be good. Does anybody have any inspirational ideas? Personally I really like 'Hatikva', the Israeli national anthem...but maybe the Israeli anthem would be a bit too close to RL to be appropriate... |

Message | OOC: I found an anthem that I think was proposed as an alternative to Hatikvah called "HaEmunah" ("The Faith"). Lyrics are below: Eternally lives in our hearts, the loyal faith [Haemunah] to return to our holy land, the city where David settled. There we shall stand [to receive] our destiny, [which the] father of many [nations] acquired, there we shall live our life the life of the innumerable community. There we shall serve our God with joy, happiness and song there we shall pilgrimage three times a year. Torah of life is our desire, given from heavenly mouth forever it is our heritage from the desert it was given. It's probably easier to edit too. In fact, I think it would only need modest alterations. |

Message | OOC: I like, it Jack! If we're going to adapt it for our use, then the Particracy equivalent of the biblical David appears to be Elior (who also appears to be the biblical equivalent of Joshua). Similarly, the Particracy equivalent of God appears to be Elyon, and the Particracy equivalent of the Torah appears to be the Katub. See: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Yeudism |

Message | OOC: I'll leave it to somebody else to change the names (in case I do it wrong). |
