Message"Whats with the huge increase in defence spending? "

1. It is part of the cabinet program.
2. Compared to other nations our defense spending is staying behind which means our armed forces and defense facilities are becoming obsolete.
3. The costs are also increasing because of the intruction of compulsory military service.

This government finds this has to change and increased the budget.

"And the big cut for the environment?"

Recently, a few policies concerning the environment and tourism have changed. The budget changed from a share of 7.3 % to 4.0 %.It is reduced to normal international standards. Moreover this government has chosen other priorities.

MessageNot impressed at all. I think I'd rather have a Liberal majority than this overarching nationalist tilt towards a massive defence budget.

MessageAs we explained before it is a normal balanced budget again. Our spending on defense is equal to other nations. Barmenistan does not have a massive defence budget but this government is trying to eliminate the backlog. If needed, the honourable members of the PCP want to defend their country as well as possible, don't they ?

MessageMIP: Reading your earlier commentsThe BLP is wondering why your ideological position on ecology is restrictive-leaning in stead of permissive.
