MessageMr. Speaker,

When the Tory party asked for early elections four years ago, the Republican party requested that time be allowed for Parliamentary business to be finished before a fresh election was called. Parliammentary business is now finished: there are no bills currently to be voted upon.

In the mean-time, Parliament is in the constitutionally anomalous position of having thirty-two more members than the maximum stipulated under recent reforms. Clearly, this situation cannot continue as it has done. Will the Social Nationalist Party and the Progressive Party - and the government - now support a call for elections?

I yield the floor.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
