Bill: Infrastructure Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Fascist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3548

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

The nation must have infrastructure in place run solely for the public good and sometimes not bogged down by profits. Only the government can provide for the needed systems in place to ensure infrastructure works for all and not those who can pay multi-national corporations for it.

MessageMr Speaker,

regardless of all the anti-capitalist rhetoric spouted by the fascists all day and night, it is undeniable that profit is the important incentive to invest and create jobs in any economy. Profit can only be generated if corporations serve their customers well - the state, in contrast, must not care about quality since they have the taxpayer's purse as an endless source of funds to subsidize and bail out state-run companies regardless how bad they perform. Customer satisfaction can only be guaranteed in a market-based system.
