Message | OOC: A Jewish boy at the school I went to was called Yona. Now I'm wondering whether that name has something to do with "dove"... |

Message | OOC: Probably, yes. There are lots of different spellings for words - I think it will almost certainly mean "Yonah" or "Jonah" both of which mean "dove". I think Jewish names are really interesting. By the way, my mum almost called me Levi - that's a Jewish name! I kinda wish she had, it'd be more unique than the name she went for. |

Message | You could always change your name to something more exotic if you get tired of it ;). I'm glad I wasn't born a girl, cos if I had my mum was going to call me Bryany... |

Message | lol @ Katie Hopkins! BTW are you sure you wish you'd been named Levi, Jack? It's perceived as a bit of a chavvy name, isn't it? I prefer Jack :). |

Message | OOC: Levi is more unique, but I think it will always be associated with jeans. :P |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
