Message | We welcome this initaitive. We strongly support the national service as it is important that a message is conveyed that we are all equally responsible for the maintenance of national security, and thus we wish it to remain. On the other hand, we view the quite liberal state of legislation concerning things such as chemical weaponry is be excessive - we'd much rather prefer that the limited funding available be spent on the regular forces. So therefore we would prefer the first configuration. Johannis Georgishvili Minister of Defence Mikheil Devanadze Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Armed Services |
