Proposal[?] to change Closed shops are places of employment where only members of a specific union are allowed to work; union shops can hire non-members, but these have to become members after a certain time; agency shops can hire non-members, who have to pay a fee to cover the unions costs. | Message | This one I must vote against, as I feel it puts unreasonable restrictions on the right of contract, especially in articles 1,2,and 3. Should you wish to revisit the child labor issue by modifying the regulations set forth in the current law, I am quite open to discussion. |
