Message | The new Frankenstein cabinet of conservative and socialist parties is an embarassment to our nation. Since the CRIP is too incompetent to form a proper cabinet which could work cohesively, we ought to have elections now, so as to elect a Philosopher who knows how to do the job. |

Message | What are you talking about? The new cabinet which consists of the CRIP, the SDP and the PPP is absolutely fine. One suspects that the DCP is smarting over losing all their power. The NDP on the other hand, has accepted the new cabinet with dignity and grace. |

Message | If I could just respond OOC for a second... I'm opposing the cabinet because it's ridiculous and unrealistic. Why would a major conservative party form a cabinet with two left wing parties? Why would the two largest parties work together, despite diametrically opposing world views? Why would the CRIP give itself only one seat in the cabinet, and give the smallest of the three parties 5? The fact that such a cabinet exists detracts from the realism of the game so much that there's no point in taking anything else seriously. The cabinet must not mean anything if it can be formed by any parties that feel like it, regardless of their ideology. The same problem occured with the initial cabinet proposed. What's the point of this game, if not to try to move the national policy towards that of the party you're roleplaying? If the ideologies don't matter, than why even have them for our parties? |

Message | OOC: But thats just the point. It is realistic because if a party creates a cabinet no matter how its formed that party must then deal with the consequences and results. Don't mix IC and OOC together. |

Message | If a party is rightfully elected to the executive position, its their right according to our constitution to form a cabinet anyway they want and their responsibility to deal with the consequences. |

Message | OOC: I've been looking around your nation again, and I have to say that whoever is the player behind the CRIP, he is either the most idiotic person to ever play this game or doing a very good job pretending to be the most idiotic person to ever play this game. If you care about realism, you really should boycott the CRIP... |

Message | But thats just the point. In real life a government can choose to construct a cabinet any way it wants as long as its approved and thus has to deal with the consequences of their actions. Whats different here? |
Date | 00:34:03, May 14, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Endralon | To | Debating the Call for early elections, December 2050 |
Message | OOC: The difference is that in real life no one as moronic as the CRIP could win the elections. :) |

Message | OOC: You cannot speak for all voters. Secondly this is a game. In real life bills are much more tedious to write and are written by special offices of researches for legislators and take up many pages of legal language. No need for biased OOC/IC mixing in your opinion. |

Random fact: When forming a cabinet, try to include as few parties as possible, while still obtaining a majority of the seats. |
