Bill: FSDP Free Economics and Restricted Pornography Act 3561
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3562
Description[?]:
Article 1 - Non-Consensual sexual acts should never be legal, nor should pornography depicting them. The FSDP realises that banning pornography is not a viable option, nor is attempting to only allow adults to view it - so we will control the type of material the population has access to, allowing pornography that depicts consenting adults is a sensible restriction. Article 2 - The Government needs to start to free the market slightly, this is a good start. We should not require anything like this. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We believe that this sensible restriction on the content of pornography is well in line with the moral sensibilities of the nation. Pornography depicting non consensual sex acts and minors is disgusting and we should lower the potential of this type of material entering the market by the force of law. - William Harper, President of Lodamun. |

Message | IC: Mr Speaker, While we understand the opposition of the Monarchist Party, we do enquire as to why they believe that pornography depicting minors and non consensual sex acts should still be allowed. I call upon the right honourable opposition to provide their reasoning for opposition to this bill. - Marcus Sampson, Member from Kregon, FSDP. OOC: I am actually interested in what your opposition is to, the pornography or the economics part? If it is the economics part I apologise for the assumption that it is the pornography part, but I feel that is what would happen in a real parliament - some rude backbencher would try to demonise you out of spite. - JS. |
