MessageOn behalf of your friends in eastern Egelia, I wish to thank and congratulate the government of the Coronada República de Egelion for taking this important and historic step of outlawing slavery. I hope this will do much to allay fears and uncertainties about unificación here in the east.

MessageMister Speaker,

I would support this bill, until the corrupt governmental authorities added in several things which are not at all related to the emancipation!

MessageMr. Speaker,

As a friend of Francisco de Nueva, I would like to urge him to support this Bill, if only because if he opposes it, then our political opponents will use that as an excuse to pretend he is in favour of slavery.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If we are to take a closer look at the slaves of Egelion, you will certainly see what kind of a person is a slave. Prior to Egelion's conversion to the Selucian Patriarchal Church, the Solduni faith was the main faith of Egelion. A heretical system of ancestor worship, it was abolished only a handful of years ago, when I was young and new to the government.

As the Solduni faith was abolished, its belligerents were forced into slavery. This meant criminals, heretics, and the Solduni fanatics were now the slaves. Effectively, by simply emancipating the slaves, we are giving a thumbs up to a system of druid-worship. I ask that this bill be re-proposed with a section dealing directly with the Solduni.
