Bill: Resolution in Favor of Dranish Autonomy

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberale Volkspartei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3567

Description[?]:

Herr Präsident,

Badara and Egelion are openly denying the legitimacy of the Dranish state as it is, encouraged by the likes of VBSM and HC in Dranland, whose treasonous activities continue to endanger the sovereignty of our closest allies and thus also the Hulstrian national interest. It is time for Hulstria & Gao-Soto to once again voice our staunch support for our Dranish friends' right to self-determination through this resolution.

1.) By passing this resolution, the Reichstag of Hulstria & Gao-Soto officially declares that it recognizes the legitimacy of the Republic of Dranland in its current form and considers the Dranish President its official Head of State. The Reichstag furthermore expresses its continuous support for those Dranish parties who wish to preserve the Republic as it is.

2.) By passing this resolution, the Reichstag condemns and voices its disapproval for the treasonous activities of Hacia Casa and VBSM and their leaders Fabricio Alvarado and Máximo Salazar. The same applies to the illegitimate imperialist claims of Egelion and their support from the part of Badara.

3.) By passing this resolution, the Reichstag expresses its view that it considers the whole concept of "Egelion" null, void and plainly nonsensical, and nothing but pure fiction perpetuated by political demagoguery.

MessageHerr Präsident,

I thank the honorable lady for her passionate speech on behalf of the Dranish state, and I must state first-off that I am wholeheartedly in favour of Dranish independence. However, she implied in her third point that Egelion - whilst treated as a non-entity by her party - is in itself an independence state whether the LVP wishes it to be or not. As a result, I pledge the HSP firmly behind her efforts for a diplomatic solution but must ask for confirmation that military action is entirely out of the question?

MessageOOC: Thank you for pointing out my mistake. I meant "Egelia", not Egelion, which is obviously a real state, whereas "Egelia" refers to the idea of Egelion united with Dranland.

MessageHerr Präsident,

I thank Herr Toshimichi for his support of our efforts to send a message of support our Dranish friends. Regarding the question of military action, my party would not be prepared to take up arms unless our national security was imminently threatened, which at this point is certainly not the as the scenario of a forced unification of Dranland and Egelion remains rather unlikely.

MessageHerr Präsident,

It comforts me to hear that military action from Hulstria and Gao-Soto is out of the question for the time being, and I support her wholeheartedly in a diplomatic solution. As a result, the HSP will support the motion on the proviso that non-aggression for all sides remains the top-priority for the United Imperial Crownlands. I hope that this bill will bring stability back into the region, and wish it every success.
