Bill: Non-Proliferation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mordusian Worker's Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3570

Description[?]:

Recognising the ability of nuclear weapons to cause destruction far beyond the call of duty in conflict, this act seeks to rid Mordusia of such abominations and to outlaw their use in warfare. Nuclear deterrent is a poor excuse for the ability to scar countries - not just their military but their people and environment - for decades, even centuries - as to create a mutually assured apocalypse. If World War Three is fought with nuclear weapons, World War Four will be fought with sticks and stones.

MessageThe General Assembly of Occupy Mordusia has a question to the Deptuies:

Why do you always vote against nuclear disarmament?

Which part of a nuclear war is either Moral or Idealistic?
Or desirable?

Shouldn't we put an end to this madness?

If you think that our national security is dependent on the immediate self-extinction of humanity, please tell the people why that makes sense.

This bill would lead to the death of our nation should we be invaded.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
