Bill: Prohibition of Forced Labour Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Confederation of Democratic Councils

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3571

Description[?]:

If you commit a crime in this country you will be taken to a forced labour prison and made to work long hours, everyday, as unpaid labour for the benefit of private corporate profit. If anyone resists they are beaten by prison guards and put in solitary confinement.

In other words, the punishment for committing a crime in this country is forced labour and slavery. It's absolutely barbaric and it should stop.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Are these prisons or workplaces? The scum of the earth deserve no opportunity to redeem themselves!

MessageIt is not barbaric at all! What's barbaric are the acts of these criminals that got them into prison in the first place! At the very least, they should work so that they can pay for their own food etc., and not the taxpayers, who for some reason have to pay for these scumbags' 'rehabilitation'...
