It has come to our attention that the strength of our military and security of our nation seems to be lacking somewhat. To counteract this, we propose the following bill, in the hopes of eventually restoring our military prowess.

MessageHerr Präsident,

this bill sounds as if our country was entering a state of emergency, which is simply not the case. Public security policy may need some refinements in one area or another, but altogether our security forces do a very laudable and efficient job. There is simply no legitimate cause for pursuing a radical militarization of society as proposed here, which would only create fear and uncertainty among our citizens.

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman
