MessageMore Train companies means more competitiveness which is good. Allowing private companies to exist is good for our economy. We personally would have gone further and cometely privatised the TOCs but our economy is not yet completely ready for that so this is a good middle step

MessageYou are correct, Stjin. We had introduced this measure to help grow the economy directly, around 20 years back. But the last regime overturned it, getting it back.

MessageThe thing is privatisation would put the the state rail in disadvantages, due to the necessity to cope with competetive. I dont mind agreeing with it but I would first like to see a the state rail reach an extremely high standard.

So its actually not "NO" rather "NOT NOW"

MessageThe way we see it is that this is a step to completely privatising the TOC business. You say we put the state rail in disadvantage, we say that the state rail would just benifit from being competetive.
You want a major bump in infrastructure spending, well when we get the post of Finance minister we will see if we can better utilise our budget and now I know that that is something that your party wants we will take that in consideration
