Bill: Freiheitgesetz II
Details
Submitted by[?]: Wirtschaftliche Autonomie Partei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3575
Description[?]:
With the failure of our last bill to pass, we are not discouraged. We have seen the weak resolve and duplicity of the Liberals in their willingness to form a government with socialists and moral fascists, yet we are not discouraged. We have lost seats, true, but still we are not discouraged. We are just as strongly devoted to our vision of a union built on enterprise free from government intervention as we always have been. We will continue our struggle in the face of Liberal defeatism and leftist obstruction. Here is our latest omnibus bill, dealing with military, health, and economic issues; we hope it is suitably comprehensive. Gott Segne Kapitalismus. Sächsin Pfennigbaler Party Leader |

Message | Herr Präsident,, History is unlikely to absolve this bill of anything, save perhaps if, thousands of years from now, aliens suspect there was once intelligent life on this planet, in which case they will find this as evidence for the negative. Oswald Chiyo Haase Party Leader |

Message | Moral fascists, Herr Präsident? Since when is Hosian Democracy and Septembrism a form of Fascism? I resent that the member has the courtesy to reference the Social Democrats by their own name while hurling abuse at my party. I suspect, even, that he begrudges Frau Nishimura the victory she won because the people concluded we were more trustworthy than his party. Herr Job Strumpfe (HDV - Neunvossental und Weissjoch) HDV Backbencher (OOC: Strumpfe is a bit more right-wing and conservative, also a bit knee-jerk, than the rest of the HDV) |

Message | OOC: Is there any chance we could possibly agree on putting an end to these omnibus bills? They make defining one's political positions so much harder... |

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility. |
Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
