Message | We think that the criminal should be re-educated to behave correctly in our state, not killed like an animal, evene if he ad proved to be one. And, evene if someone could think that death is a deterrent, for the man with nothing to lose it surely is not. Moreover, we think that a life imprisonment is a better detterent than a quick death. |

Message | Do you think our government is going to waste funds re-educating a criminal who will spend the rest of his life in prison? Rehabilitation is pointless in this situation. They will not be rejoining society. Life imprisonment is so much more costly than capital punishment. I realise this is putting a price on a person's life, but I really don't care. Criminals deserve no better. I don't feel life imprisonment is a better deterrent than capital punishment. If you were offered life imprisonment or death, which would you choose? To add a further deterrent to religious extremists, we are willing to add a clause to the bill that will cause these people to be killed in a manner which will deny them entry to their afterlife. What do parties think of this? |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
