| Presently, our law forbids our police departments from conducting wiretaps. The Totalitarian Party feels wiretaps are an important tool for accumulating the evidence required to convict criminals. Therefore, we propose police be given the power to covertly monitor individuals after obtaining a court order allowing them to do so. |
