MessageOur government is based on privatisation and liberty. Which means having a small government. We view that BCL's policies as they have stated to be big government based. This is our reasoning for not bringing them in the coalition

Ooc: nothing against you xD, I would like having a good opposition too.

MessageThe BCL's views aren't clear as yet: Do you expect to have cabinet positions or would you be satisfied being in opposition?
I would be glad to have you as a part of the cabinet, and would vote 'yes' to this bill only if and when you clearly state that you have no intention of being part of the cabinet.
Else, if yo wish to be in, I'll have to vote against even though the OCL's proposal is adequately strong.
Waiting for your response, BCL.

MessageOkay until then, to avoid further confusion, we vote 'yes' to this proposal as we had wished to anyway since this seems like a fair representation of other parties in the cabinet, and we support the OCL's proposals definitely.

MessageWe appreciate the BLP for supporting our majority coalition and reshuffling of ministers even though you're not a part of it.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
