MessageSo you have consolidated the tax rates, which I have no problem with... but for those with currently under 10K are seeing their rate rise 2%, as are the ones between 15 & 20K. We also are seeing a huge drop in the overall revenue generated, again which we have no problem with, but the last budget had a surplus of 14 Billion. This one reduces revenue from 108 Billion to 86 Billion while I am no math wiz, I am telling you without seeing expenditures I cannot support this budget because as it is written, it will put us in a severe hole.

MessageThis would mean total dry-up of the revenues we have at present, and not long after, we would be in severe debts!
And what practical purpose does removing the entire 10000 bracket at one go serve? And at the expense of increasing the two near brackets' taxes? If we do need to remove tax brackets, it should be gradual through gradual lowering of taxes over time such that the economy can sustain itself even without their taxes. And we are definitely in no such position.
(OOC: As you can see, the game hasn't introduced any export-revenue system as yet, which we can solely rely upon for our incomes even if we remove tax brackets.)

If tax breaks have to be introduced for all present income groups, we welcome them, but we need to see revised lower expenditures before we can accept any such proposal.
