Message | We hope for a resounding Freedom Coalition endorsement of this bill. |
Date | 22:40:19, December 23, 2005 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Free Science Deregulatory Act |
Message | Against article 1, the consumer has the right to know what it is consuming. Against article 2, genetic modification has not been conclusively proved to be safe, hence we should not allow the production and sale of GM crops, while stimulating research into it. And finally, staunchly opposed to article 3, all experts in the field of cloning technologies agree that current cloning technologies are not safe and are in no way ready to be applied on human beings. That is why we must have at least some form of regulation. |

Date | 11:06:29, December 24, 2005 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Free Science Deregulatory Act |
Message | The Freedom Party will support this. We actually prefer GM things to be disclosed but if consumers demand it, companies will do it Especially if there is a sizeable portion of the electorate that wont eat GM, companies will label their foods, GM FREE, to get them to buy it. And no RSDP, they will not lie, as that would be false advertising and damage their reputation |
Date | 17:17:58, December 24, 2005 CET | From | Grand Republican Party | To | Debating the Free Science Deregulatory Act |
Message | The GRP will support this bill, if a tad unwillingly. We would like products to list GM ingredients on the, but as there are no other viable options, we shall support these measures. |

Message | Bhopal damaged the reputation of that company, but that did not prevent the disaster. Those assumptions, my "honourable" colleague, put the Rutanian people at mortal danger! |

Message | Why should the freedom coalition vote for something when the RFP has abandoned us? We vote against in spite |

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
