Bill: Freedom act

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Athlorcaean Dawn

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3596

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

For to long the people of Athlorcaea have been treated as dumb sheep under socialist regimes. Not only do they obviously believe that politicians are better at raising children than parents by zealous over-regulation of freedom things such as alcohol and tobacco. They are also treating adults as if they were children in need of parental discipline. People are not allowed to have a smoke when they see fit. This is ridiculous, and it must change.

Random quote: "The great economic, social and political scientist, Karlstein Metz, accurately predicted over 2,500 years ago that capitalism is doomed to destruction by its inherent weaknesses and contradictions, and must inevitably be replaced by a communist form of social, political and economic organisation." - Friedrich Pfeiffer, former Dorvish politician
