Voting deadline: September 3611
Description[?]:
The flow of beads throughout the entirety of the Ibutho economy is essential to the elevation of our living standards and welfare. All Ibutho must have a way not just to store beads, but to easily transfer beads and borrow beads from far and wide. We cannot restrict ourselves to local money-lenders. Nor can we restrict ourselves to using our beads to buy physical objects. What is wrong with taking out a few well-earned beads and investing it in equities - foreigners have controlled enough of our economy before; perhaps it is time for us to own a bit of their companies - currency futures or harmless sub-prime mortgage-backed securities? [OOC: ;)] Let us advance into greater prosperity for all! Let us not hold back our own people! |

Message | We know from what we have seen abroad that banks are not to be trusted. These organisations are run by crooks who steal all of the money then run away after people demand what is rightfully theirs. So we do not want banks in Ibutho - at least not big banks. I myself always keep my Beads in a basket under my bed where they are safe. Thabisa Shabangu Minister of Finance |
