Bill: Supporting our Farmers Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Religious Workers' Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3614

Description[?]:

Government approval of new pesticides and other chemicals is a lengthy and expensive process that gives an unfair advantage to farmers in countries with less restrictive agricultural policies. This bill aims to increase the competitiveness of our agricultural industry while still giving the consumer the right to know what is in their food and shop smarter.
