Message | We agree with the promotion of Malivian culture. We see no problem with national government providing funding for local governments to operate museums, so long as local governments are still autonomous to operate museums. |
Date | 03:00:57, February 01, 2014 CET | From | Malivian Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Museum Funding |
Message | Malivian culture is something to be proud of and should be exposed at every opportunity. Any investment into preserving our history for educational and patriotic purposes is a good investment. We're glad our colleagues from The Socialist Front agree with this bill. We only hope our counterparts from the other parties agree with this reasonable proposal as well. |

Message | OOC: Welcome to the party, Nationalists. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of us, as far as I know, we don't bite. IC: This vote (and the treaty vote for that matter) will not count as the deadline goes beyond the next elections. We will take up these issues again on the other side of the October elections. The Conservatives have to oppose this legislation, however. While Malivian culture generally, and that of His Majesty, King Christian I in particular, should be celebrated, we feel that the question of funding is best left to local governments. |

Message | OOC: Thank you! IC: We are sorry to hear that you do not agree, however, we do respect your parties position on the matter. We look forward to debating and hopefully passing legislation with you in the future in the next session of the People's assemble after the election. |

Message | We must reiterate what we said in the previous Assembly's session: we believe that the issue of museum funding is best left to the local governments. However, we also realize that the fate of this bill rests in the hands of the MSF, who hold the majority in this chamber. |
