Bill: great deal

Description[?]:

Unemployment seems an issue. We need to find some solutions for this growing problem.
We could pull down the retirement age. Of course, in what way would that action affect the economy, the public pension fund, personal pensionplans, etc...
Corporation tax could be lowered. Doing so, we will lower socalled 'labourtaxes', which makes it much more interesting to start a business.
For example: lowering the taxes from 50 to 40%, would cost us about 1,2 billion dollar. Of course, when the number of businesses increases due to this measure, we'll have more profit made by these corporations. We would need an increase of corporation profits of 3 billion LOD. With a growth of 25%, we should be able to break-even (only for corporation taxes). This might sound a lot, but our revenue will go up elsewhere aswell.

Income taxes will increase for sure, as well as consumption rates.

MessageWe understand that you dislike the idea of taxcuts, but there needs to be something done to stimulate our industry and economy.
In the future, some sacrifices will have to be made.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We think that the economy is fine. We have been in the top 10 countries with the highest GDP for decades. Our Consumption is 11th in the world, and our government spending is 11th in the world. It is rare that a country can accomplish high rankings in both these areas. Our currency is the strongest national currency in the world.

MessageWe understand the position our country is in, and we also understand that your fine work has got something to do with it.
We are aware of the privileged position our government and our citizens are in, but we are afraid that these things will change some day. We just want to be prepared if in any case 'the good life' would start to alter.

We are happy to hear that our currency still is the strong coin.

We do believe we need a socalled plan B for the future, but for now, we can live with this agreement.

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.
