Message | Mr. Speaker, Not only does Solidarity support a state planned economy, they also support allowing criminals, such as rapists and terrorists who've spilled Rutanian blood in the streets the right to vote. Rest assured we will repeal these laws when we have the votes. Solidarity cannot give us or the nation a reasonable explanation why a rapist should be allowed to vote. Message | Mr. Speaker, A rapist should be and will be allowed to vote because a rapist is no less human than any non-rapist. Merely because a person has made a mistake and committed a crime, they should not be stripped of their most basic and fundamental human rights - such as a right to participate in democratic elections. The Urban Party is clearly anti-democratic and anti-humanitarian; they are as such not suited for government. - Amir Socrates, Labour chairman |
Date | 03:07:14, February 15, 2014 CET | From | Urban Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Justice Reformation Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The idea that we should reward criminals who've taken the life of another human being or have taken away the innocence of a child with the ability to vote is sickening. When you break the law, you deserve to be punished for it, not given more privileges. The UPR is not anti-democratic, we are anti-extremist and against stuff that is illogical. The Left loves to give us a moral argument with stuff like this but is it morally justified to give a terrorist who murders thousands of people the right to vote? Too us, it doesn't seem logical and we'd even go as far as to say this is just a ploy for certain parties to gain more votes in an election. Finally, we suggest the RL educate themselves about the history of the UPR. We have been in Rutania for centuries and have produced competent, pragmatic politicians over the years. We know how to govern and have proven it time and time again. What is your record? Michael Kirsch UPR Congressional Leader |
