Message | This attack on the free distribution of news media is disturbing. A government that can't handle a little criticism is not fit to govern |
Date | 03:12:15, February 27, 2014 CET | From | Kundrati Liberty Movement (KLM) | To | Debating the State Media Act |
Message | The KLM would be fine with one or two state television channels. As the Union for a Popular Movement stated though, to been "subversive anti-government material" is just ridiculous. This can easily be extended to mean just about anything. Imagine if the KLM said that any communist is "spreading subversive anti-government material" and then locked them up. Would you enjoy jail time simply for freely voicing your opinions? |
