Bill: Income tax proposal of July 3629
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kundrati Liberty Movement (KLM)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3630
Description[?]:
The Kundrati Liberty Movement (KLM) propose to adjust the government's income tax policy, as you can see this is a further tax increase which simultaneously is designed to raise taxes on the upper class more than the lower class. The amount of income which is totally tax exempt would rise to 25,000. Simultaneously all of the rates will increase by 5%. We hope this can be a bill which all sides can support, passage of this bill will bring us very close to achieving a budgetary surplus, especially if we can make a few more modest spending cuts together with this tax increase. |
