Bill: Health Care Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2163

Description[?]:

Presently, wealthy citizens are able to receive private health care. The Totalitarian Party feels our public health care system is more than adequate for the needs of these citizens. By allowing these private clinics, we are admitting our system is not the best it can be. Therefore, we propose the private health care clinics be banned. All private clinics will be converted into public clinics.

Funds formerly spent on ensuring regulating private clinics will be used to better the service provided by public health care.

MessageWe would tend to disagree. Health insurance should be public and mandatory, yes, but this party does not consider it necessary for all infrastructure to be so as well.
