| THE TREATY OF BAOFLUZ Article 1 The persons responsible for the massacres that took place in the city of Augusta Justiniana shall be handed over to the occupying forces of the Augustan Northern Army and tried by a military tribunal. Article 2 The Khanate of Jelbania shall sign an agreement accepting all guilt for starting the war and will undertake to pay reparations if 1.5 billion LOD over the next 25 years. Article 3 The Khanate of Jelbania shall be limited to armed forces of no more than 95,000 men (navy, airforce and ground forces combined) The Khanate shall be expressly forbidden from spending more than 5% of GDP on defence related spending. Article 4 The Augustan Empire is to occupy the western half of the country and be permitted to make as many as 25 bases in the rest of the country. Article 5 The Khanate of Jelbania shall elect no head of state (Khan) without the express approval of the Senate of the Augustan Empire. All candidates to run in the elections have to be approved by the Emperor of the Augustans. Article 6 The Khanate of Jelbania shall accede to the Augustan Empire as a Despotate, enjoying all rights, duties and responsibilities of a Despotate of the Augustan Empire. Article 7 The Khanate of Jelbania is forbidden from ever again joining any organisations which are hostile to the Augustan Empire or in any way antagonistic to her prosperity and existence. Article 8 The Khanate of Jelbania is bound to supply troops to assist the Augfustan Armies at the request of the Grand Domestic of the Imperial Augustan Army (or another officer to whom such authority has been delegated. |
