MessageWe ask that any discussion into this bill be delayed pending the passage or failure of the current Federal Budget currently at vote. Both myself and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces have statements prepared on both counts.

MessageIn light of the 200 billion DUM increase in the operation budget of this Ministry there is no point is performing cut backs. As it is we have the single largest defence budget on the continent by several volumes, with the OKS informing me they weren't even spending the exorbitant amount of money they were being given before.

In light of this the Ministry of Defence feels there is no reasonable grounds on which any of these could be passed purely for "financial" reasons. Subsequently our Party is opposed to this bill.
