| APPEAL TO ALL DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST AND REVOLUTIONARY ORGANISATIONS AND WORKERS IN JAKANIA Comrades, For the first time in Jakanian history, a Socialist government is proposed, under the form of a Unity Front of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers. This is a major step towards the abolishment of capitalist rule over our nation. Therefore, the rime is ripe to take more drastic steps: the reform of United Jakania towards a Democratic Socialist Soviet Republic. How do we see the government in this Socialist State? The parliament (New Name: All-Jakanian Congress of Soviet Deputees AJCSD) shall be elected through direct elections. The AJCSD shall then elect a government, in which ALL socialist, revolutionary and workers-, peasantsparties shall be represented. This government shall be called: The Council of People's Commissars. This name shall stand symbol for the fact that this government defends the interest of the Jakanian People. Bourgeois parties may exist, and can participate in the elections, but will never be allowed to participate in the government. The real power shall lay in the hands of the People, the workers and peasants of Jakania. This power will be as well the political as the economical power in the country. This shall be made concrete through 3 measures: 1) Abolishment of private property of the means of production: This DOES NOT mean the abolishment of all private property. A Workers' government shall never get its hands on the moderate private possessions of workers, employees, and small bussinessmen. But the property and control over the Nations' Natural Resources, the control over the big companies, this is now in the hands of a small elite of big capitalists. They do not let any control of political governments, stand alone the workers, on what they do and don't do. This must be changed! The industry must be nationalised, to abolish all control of the capitalist on the means of production, and then be placed under control of Democratic Workers' Councils (DWC's). Therefore: The Soviet Government shall take the following measures: -All Industry shall be under control of the state. Democratice Workers' Councils run all these companies. The only exceptions shall be made for small bussinesses, like bakeries, butchers, small shops and so on... -All means of infrastructure, like Postal services, electricity, hospitals, schools, public transport etc. shall be under control of the workers. It shall be nationalised, and be under control of DWC's. 2) The trade unions, and all organisations of the people and workers shall be partners of the workers government. There were the government stands for the general interest of the society, these INDEPENDENT organisations shall defend the interests of their members, sometimes against this of the government. Therefore, strikes, manifestations, meetings etc. shall be ALWAYS LEGAL. 3) Police and army repression shall be abolished. The government will not have the monopoly on violence. Concrete measures: - Arms shall be available to everyone. The control on who bears arms shall not be exercised by the government, but through democratic councils in the communities. - Police shall be demilitarisised. They will not bear lethal arms, and be organised through local communities. The army does not supply any backup against demonstrations, meetings etc. These are the measures we propose to change Jakania towards a Socialist Republic. We must discuss on the concrete implementation of these issues between all democratic revolutionaries. Comrades, we stand before a crucial moment in our history. Never before, the workers of Jakania have been closer in creating a real democracy then today. We must not let go this power anymore, and prevent the bourgoisie of imposing reactionary reforms. We have nothing to loose but our chains, but we have a world to win! Workers of all nations, unite! Long Live the Socialist Federation of Jakanian Soviet Republics! Long Live the Unity Front!
