Message | This bill concenrates on health issues, though Freedom Acts in the the future will cover many topics (though not in the same bill). Consider this the first of many attempts to right the wrongs done by the conservatives. |

Date | 04:33:22, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Social Reform Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | The elderly have the right to life and dignity, eh? Except, in the case of euthanasia, they're choosing to end their lives... |
Date | 04:34:05, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Independent Capitalist Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Leave it in debate, perhaps people can compromise. |

Date | 04:35:46, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Memorare Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Killing yourself is not 'dignity'. Making the elderly feel they offer nothing and allowing them to kill themselves is not dignity. Suicide is a terrible terrible thing, its a terrible message to send people to say its ok to kill yourself when you feel unloved, sick or down.... Hospice is the answer for the sick, care is the answer for the sick, love is the answer for the sick....not death. |
Date | 04:40:27, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Independent Capitalist Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | I may change my mind without warning on this bill. |
Date | 06:10:36, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Lord-General Drache Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | I'm against both. People should have the right to choose to carry a child, or not, at any point, and to die if there exists no alternatives, save suffering. |
Date | 15:52:51, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Social Reform Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Are you kidding, MP? People who want euthanasia clearly know that they could go to a hospice - and they do not want to! Euthanasia is not something that any elderly person just chooses, it's an option for those who have an illness which will cause more suffering in life than in death! It's for people who would be in pain for the rest of their lives, regardless if they're in a hospice! |
Date | 16:38:23, December 28, 2005 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | We are forced to vote against because we oppose the second proposal attached to this legislation. |
Date | 00:41:01, December 29, 2005 CET | From | Memorare Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Hospice is there to stop pain, visit a hospice...modern pain relief and love is the answer....I refuse for aloria to enter into a culture of hate. |
Date | 04:25:18, December 29, 2005 CET | From | Social Reform Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Unless your hospices are drugging those who go there, how exactly do they end physical pain? Love and compassion? No, it doesn't work that way. |
Date | 05:46:20, December 29, 2005 CET | From | Memorare Party | To | Debating the Freedom Act I |
Message | Go to a hospice. It would change your mind. Killing is never an option. |
