Bill: Cabinet Proposal of February 3654

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3654

Description[?]:

Two Assemblies ago the right's majority was a mere 2 in the Federal Assembly. In the last Assembly it was raised to a respectable 16. We've now seen a clear endorsement of our common sense policies that this grand coalition of the right has been pursuing for the 5 and a half years by delivering the Coalition a clear majority of 78.

We, the Freedom Party with the Grand Consul, propose a renewed grand coalition of the right.

Long live Beluzia!

MessageOur unfavourable vote in merely symbolic, as we would expect anyone, even ourselves, to form a national cooperation government in any circumstance. We are just that serious and pedantic about democracy. However, we want to stress that we feel the proposed cabinet is entirely legitimate.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
