Bill: Cabinet Proposal of June 3655

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti populaire Libéral

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3656

Description[?]:

In this proposal the PPL have attempted to allow each party roughly the number of ministries they deserve relative to their seats, but to also give each party the ministries which are of most importance to them.

Liberal Ecology get the Environment, which I'm sure they'll love. They get fields of green to frolic around in and they get to deal with all those lovely foreigners.
The Democratic National party get Finance and more importantly for them Defence which I'm sure they'll handle well.
The Fascists get Justice, Health & Social Services, Education & Culture and they get Internal Affairs.

We hope each party will agree that those ministries are the ones that they find most important and we hope they will agree to the proposal giving Jelbania a new government after months of turmoil.

Not sure Liberal Ecology would have those 3 partners in mind for a coalition.

MessageAfter 2 successive crushing electoral blows, I think it is clear that the people of Jelbania do not want us in government until we have gone back to our principles in policy terms. In addition, I would have tyrouble working with at least one of those coalition partners.

MessageMy dream of being a conduit for which Liberal Ecologyism and Fascism can flow across and be friends has been shattered.

What will come of this country if we allow the Reds into government?

MessageTo be honest, my party has played ball with all of the liberals. We are willing for cooperations. As the reds are against us, we are against the reds. Communism brings economic turmoil and big central government politicos.
