MessageThe AAS opposes. We see no good reason to fragment our police force. Indeed, we see the lack of cohesion it would cause, as an obstacle to effective nationwide treatment/investigation of crime.

MessagePSS feel there is merit to this proposal, such as local crimes able to be targeted by police with 'local' knowledge. PSS supports.

MessageWe're not really fragmenting the national police force with this proposal. The national police force will still maintain its current level of personnel. They would now be working with local authorities for major crimes. Also, there wouldn't be the blanket crime prevention funding allocation that is in place now, so that places in Likatonia that are afflicted by higher crime rates are allocated the same amount of police funding as areas that have relatively light levels of crime.

MessageThe AAS prefers the perceived versatility of a larger force, that can allocate it's forces as it sees fit. One centralised force does NOT mean that officers can't be located in high-need areas.

MessageThe JLP supports this proposal. We believe the citizenry will be safer and enjoy fuller liberty with a local police force to protect and serve. In fact, it would be wonderful if we dismantled the national police force and allowed the communities to develop local law enforcement, utilizing a loose network with other municipalities for wide-spread crime (organized crime, etc).

MessageWe believe that the national police force should never be dismantled because there can and will be crimes committed to a national scale. The local police forces wouldn't be able to adequately handle those cases, but they would save the national police from working on lesser crimes such as traffic violations and petty larcenies.

MessageThe AAS believes that ANY form of 'devolution' of our legal system, has the potential risk of allowing a lack of equivalency in law enforcement, across the nation.

The AAS beleives it is not safe to allow this kind of 'feudalism' to even have the chance to take root.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
