Bill: Privatization of Health Care - 3669
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Party for Freedom and Democracy
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3669
Description[?]:
It is the PPFD's opinion that it makes no sense to have a public health care system. Every private initiative has to deal with unfair competition and it is not the task of the government to run hospitals. That is why we propose a privatization, a free market guarantees best service for the consumers. We are still socially sensitive, though, so in our proposal the state shall help where the individual can't help himself. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe that this is in line with the GNRG's "contract economics" policies. We will, of course, decide how much hospitals are paid based on the number of low-income patients which choose them and their quality of service. They will not overcharge us. We will ensure that the people's money goes to the hospitals that best serve the low-income people. -- Jaron Landau, Finance Minister |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
