MessageWhile I am sure the government is in possession of greater information than I, I do feel a question needs to be raised: are these insurgents? Yes, they openly proclaim their rebellion against His Majesty King Guillaume, yes, and this does indeed meet the terms of treason against their rightful King.

However, it seems that the failure of their treasonous cause has, for whatever reason, caused their mental collapse. Even now, they firmly believe that this trial is in fact not happening. They firmly believe that this Senate sitting here now is in fact not sitting here.

My most esteemed colleagues, I must ask: has there even been a rebellion? Has their been any insurgency of any kind? Or is this whole affair just the fantasy of a few deranged Canrillists in Dimitri-en-Thallori whose unwillingness to accept their defeat has caused their minds to invent a story of their victory?

If this is indeed the case, then traitors and subversives they remain, and they cannot got unpunished or be permitted to remain on the streets of our nation. But to call them 'insurgents' and give them a trial by a body as high as the Senate is to give them far too much credence.
