Message"Whilst a party of our size - as represented in the elected house - would never normally hold a seat on the cabinet, the Orange Alliance feel strongly that we have proved ourselves as a party that seeks reform and has achieved many successes especially in amending the constitution.

Our candidate for the position of Environment and Tourism is Mr. Leo Kashel, Deputy Leader of the Orange Alliance. His background is in environmental tourism and would seek to work alongside the rest of the government to see reform in the environment and tourism sector.

We recognise how the nation is effectively run by one party and as a means of displaying a spirit of bi-partisan co-operation - as the government has shown in the past - we seek the approval of this motion to allow a Socialist-Orange Coalition for the last year of this legislative term, at which point the public will decide how they have judged the effectiveness of all 3 parties in the previous term."

Leader of the Orange Alliance, Sarojini Kumal speaking on the floor of the house today as the bill is moved to a vote.

MessageAs the Orange Alliance has to understand, the current situation in the parliament as well as the composition of the government is a result of the people's will. Out of a set of three parties they gave their trust to the Socialist Party and allowed it to hold the majority of the seats.
Forming a kind of coalition government in the current situation would do nothing but bypass said people's will and remove any form of opposition in the governmental body, thus reestablishing a situation we had in Dorvik for a long time already.

We suggest the Orange Alliance to await the end of this legislative term. If the need for changes becomes evident by citizens changing their voting behaviour we will be happy to work together with the Alliance.

MessageThe Orange Alliance is dissapointed that the government has chosen this option, especially sine. In the last few years of this term we could have seen great things occur. However this will by no means damage the spirit of bi-partisanship in the Orange Alliance and we look forward to a healthy and passionate campaign for the elections in 3679 where the Orange Alliance is expecting to make great gains in certain areas. I certainly look forward to gaining a seat in my home state of Mothar and intend the parliamentary Orange Party to put forward some of our Environmental and Tourism proposals.

Leo Kashel, Deputy Leader Orange Alliance.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
