| Message | Polygamy for all would be destructive to the family unit! there were times in the violent past when most men on a village might die, and polygamy ensured the survival of communities and the species, but that time is gone. Studies find many polygamous marriages even in societies where it is accepted are often disharmonious because wives rarely get along. Also too many children and one father can lead to less investment in each one. Furthermore when some more (at least superficially) desirable males scoop up many women, it leads to less family life for many other males. Having a family reduces criminality and deviancy in males, and helps to build charcter and opens up the chance at the "good life" for them (as marriage can be very important for happiness.) Males without females will more likely engage in more prostitution which is bad for the morals and health of the nation. We will not even speak of the notion of one woman multiple man, or the (possible?)choas of multiple men multiple women (orgies with legal benefits). We have discussed before our desire to have an aristocracy of the learned and virtuous, if this existed(and it does not yet) we might support very limited polygamy for aristocratic males. One wife and 1-3 concubines (tops) and only if wife and current concubines consent to additional marriages. In this case desirability of the male as a parent for more offspring would be more provable, and since it would be so small and rare that it would not disown other men from a chance at marriage (after all numbers between males and females are not *exactly* equal.) |

| Message | Also we deny feline citizenship relates to marriage. Felines don't marry, they breed. They are a different species with different sexuality then humans. Marriage is a human institution and saying a feline can enter into it isn't a matter of pro/con (like polygamy), it is a matter of fact/falsehood. Some people have attempted to say their married to objects like walls and pillows, but saying it does not make it real. | Message | It should be noted that although males are born more they have higher fatality rates. As for one woman multiple man I felt that tends to have more moral charge to it (as in seen as a "anathema" of sorts) and we would rather discuss sociopolitical benefits and deficits then get into moral quandaries or debates on things like natural law that are more based on unlikely to change moral assumptions then more easily debatable policy. (At least for now) Plus there's only so much monologue we wish to burden upon our viewers. Either which way their are more women willing to flock to one man then men willing to share one woman (ooc: hence how rare it is throughout history, and the only socially accepted case I know was limited to one woman multiple brothers, presumably because at least the genes/relatedness of different children will not be too dissimilar for the men) [bic] as for "brute hate" we officially endorse universal unconditional love for all (check our platform), love does not mean letting people get away with anything they want to, it is sometimes restrictive for the sake of the common and individual good, even punishing at times (for the benefit of both the community and the wrong doer) |

| Message | P.S:it's not just physical damage to animals that are concerning, harder to measure emotional suffering is involved as well, how can the animals give consent and is the human raping the animal against its will but not "outwardly" hurting it...
