Bill: Party Colours Mandate 2163

Details

Submitted by[?]: Left Communist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2164

Description[?]:

This bill, in accordance with the Party Identification Act of 2038, calls again for the enforcement of said act on all parties with no modifications.

The PIA (extended) states that "no Party shall share a color found in the Nation's Flag, the nation's map color, or will claim a color which is the same as that of another". This has been violated by the Unchosen and United Blobs parties.

As the PIA is still in effect, this bill calls merely for the increased enforcement of it.

MessageThe HPP, CSP, UB and UP all have dark colours that could be indistinguishable on a dark monitor.

MessageCan't support because UB is green, which is not a color in the Hobrazian flag. However, Unchosen's choice of black violates the PIA.

MessageThough we support the PIA, and the Unchosen Party does need to change their colour in order to be in line with said proposal, the other points on UB, CSP and HPP are not necessary and as such we don't support.

MessageIf anyone has a dark monitor they should set the brightness right. I din't thought monitors could affect political party colors. I though agree on unchosen partys colour changing. Should i vote for or against then? I don't believe UB should change colour. could we change that in the description, then it would be okay to vote yes.

MessageIf one's monitor is so dark that blue, green, purple, and dark red are confused, then I don't understand how they would distinguish much from their monitor anyways.

MessageCSP: I understand that the UB is not actually violating the PIA, and did not see that part of the PIA when I stated them as an example. I will resend this bill with that amendment if this loses.

MessageI have no problem making out the party colors, but I though maybe with a dark monitor it would be difficult. Does anyone have problems making out the colors? UB has been green for a while now and asking him to change colors isn't really fair if it's due to one persons dark monitor. I will change my vote for this version of bill
