MessageIs it really necessary that many brackets? Social Liberal Party supports the idea of Progressive Taxation, however 11 different brackets make it really difficult to calculate the wage after taxes.

Social Liberal Party proposes that there are 3-4 main brackets instead with lowest being 10% as proposed and highest being 35-40%.

Of course, exact percentages and increase levels are a subject of discussion.

MessageWe must agree with the Social Liberals, this is a massive over-complication of income tax, progressive taxation of course - but let's have fewer brackets, and let's set some of the brackets at much higher levels

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
