Message | Hopefully, this election will get the VBS some seats and fill the gaping void in our Senate. |

Message | I've got 13 bills on the floor right now. I'm not going to vote yes to this measure until the voting process has been completed on each and every one of them. I waited a whole week before bringing 11 treaties to the floor, I don't want an unscheduled election to push everything back further. |

Message | SSP, I understand your argument, but look at it this way: If you want to pass something now, you need 439 * 2/3 seats (= pretty easy) If you want to pass something in a normal situation, you need 575 * 2/3 seats (= pretty hard) If more than 292 seats are PRO, you will pass it now, and the parties that are against = 282 (in the previous situation with 575 seats) will not be able to withdraw from that treaty. |

Message | 2/3 is 2/3. The seat total is irrelevant, the 2/3 threshold is the same. |
