Message | While the idea is right, subsidies have a terrible effect on the marketplace. Subsidies lead to two things: monopolies and poor quality goods. If a government repeatedly shows faovur toward one company with subsidies, it is likely that company will grow, forcing out its competitors with its bloated government funding, to become the only corporation serving Baltusia, which undermines the choices we have. This monopoly will see the company in power become lazy and start to cut costs only to increase profit, because they can, which will hurt us all with inferior pharmaceuticals. Therefore, we recommend that instead of letting this travesty of government intereference in the marketplace continue, we end it now before people's health is put at risk. |

Random fact: Particracy is set in the fictional world of Terra, which mirrors the real world of today and yet is not quite like it. |
Random quote: "The European Union and environmental advocacy groups use global warming hysteria to advance their own special agendas. The European Union recognizes any significant reduction in CO2 emissions by the United States will significantly reduce its economic output, thereby bringing it closer to the inferior output of European nations. Environmental advocacy groups work to stifle economic and industrial progress wherever they find it to inhibit the successful advancement of peoples in developing nations, inevitably making mankind a second class citizen of planet Earth." - Dr. Jay Lehr |
