Message | Mr Speaker. These proposals seem to be a big lean towards socialism. We cant support this socialist agenda. Zach Valentinn D.A Leader and National Spokesperson |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Social Libermuns Party wishes to point out that the Democratic Alliance would be correct in assuming that the *Social* Libermuns Party might propose bills of a socialist nature. We did not get the name for talking too much. ~ Rachel Roy Leader of the SLP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We wish we could state what might happen economically, but we haven't got a projection number to offer. Our Representative for Finance, Mattie Hopkins, is away on leave do to personal reasons. If someone has a response that outlines how this would affect the National Budget we would be more than happy to hear it. ~ Rachel Roy Leader of the SLP |

Message | Mr Speaker. Mr Minister Putting the entire health care system onto the states budget would be huge costs. We have been trying to introduce bills that cut government spending. We would like to eventually pass a tax cut. This proposal wouldnt help that at all. We would not want this nation to become a lazy welfare state. Phillipa Corazona D.A Representative on Justice Deputy D.A Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The current budget can handle this increase in responsibility, as it had when laws like these had existed before. While we support the direction of the bill, we don't support the bill as it stands now. We prefer to maintain the current government policy on subsidising contraception. We already make contraceptives extremely affordable. As tangible goods, we fear that free contraceptives would be wasted or abused. Persons may take more than they need, and end up not using them, while contributing to shortages. Persons may take some, then randomly throw some away because they know they can get them for free again. When it is cheap, it will still be affordable, but at least they will associate a cost with each one, to know that it shouldn't be wasted. We do not wish to ban private clinics in our national healthcare policy. We prefer the law to state that "There is a public health care system, but private clinics are allowed" or that "There is a free public health care system and a small number of private clinics, which are heavily regulated to ensure they treat their patients well and provide good care." We support the government's payment for prescribed drugs. -- Kevin Landau, Finance Minister |

Message | Mr Speaker. We too wont be supporting this bill. Even if the minister of finance states there is enough funds available. Our views on this are very similar to the GNRG oddly enough. Phillipa Corazona D.A Representative on Justice D.A Deputy Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I want to reassure the SLP that we support the direction of the bill, but not the specific articles. We wish to see minor adjustments to Articles 1 and 2, and we already support Article 3. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, President of Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We have re-arranged this bill so as to appeal to a larger amount of the Presidium. We have taken the Article on free contraception off the table as the GNRG quite rightly explained how easily people would take that proposal for granted. We have made the change to allow private clinics, as we are not opposed to having any clinic running so long as it provides good health care. With these changes in mind, we would like to move to the voting stage. ~ Rachel Roy Leader of the SLP |
